@@anthonyjolly6689 really? no kidding!, but what beat do you mean? . The first beat, which is repeated on every verse, is pretty straightforward. I guess you're talking about the beat on the bridge that might involve a little bit more of indepedence and coordination because of the open and close hi hat and the bass drum pattern together. I hope I can get a chance to record those classic songs you mention! Thanks again and stay safe!

@@johnplayse-drums2905 Sorry I didn't reply earlier, thank you very much for your comment. You're right it's a great a book, you get to learn some big band figures and stuff, but also by listening to the tracks all the time you end up working on the interpretation and performance rather than the sight - reading thing. Reading at first sight this kind of stuff is a huge challenge especially for the whole musicality it's involved. I hope I can record something in a few months. I see you've uploaded some videos, great stuff man!. keep it up!
